Spending a lot of time down in Eugene recently and decided to try the the Grid Iron Grill for lunch. Have stopped in here before for breakfast which was very good for "bar food" and opted for lunch which today was the Italian Salad. Again...far exceeded my expectations -- I mean just look at the presentation! The prices are also very wallet friendly here and the staff are super friendly as well. This place is definitely a bit off the path but I would strongly recommend for breakfast or lunch and a good drink!
We arrived here to wait out a torrential rain. Sat down at the bar and got in a conversation with one of the patrons. Then the servers. Friendly location. We tried their Fish and Chips and the Shrimp and Chips. Both were very good. Drink prices were also amazing and very tasty. We came back another time and had their clam chowder and a French Dip Sandwich. Enjoyed their Spaghetti with meat sauce on another occasion. Their Taco Tuesday has amazing selection of tacos & nachos. Service is wonderful and we enjoyed all our servers!
Best biscuits and gravy in Lane County. Loaded with sausage, perfect amount of pepper, and fluffy biscuit browned on the flattop. Service is fast and friendly. We always come in for breakfast, so we need to try the lunch and dinner menus.

My gosh!!! Second time we have been again we got Jennifer. She's a sweetheart!!! Had an amazing breakfast and great drinks and the service here is great. They always make you feel like a local. Can't wait to come back. Definitely try this place out. Doesn't matter if it's breakfast lunch or dinner. These guy's serve amazing home cooked food.
This is the Friday special (they vary). Lasagna with a pesto drizzle...fantastic. Caesar salad and bread round it out. Friday's are also funk you up Fridays which is all top shelf drinks are $4 in December and $5 after. I don't think that can be beat. This is the local hangout so everyone knows each other. Not to say you won't "fit in" .. It just keeps it friendly and lively. Nightly specials keep the menu varied and tasty. Recommend.
For a little tavern, they have good food, great service.. the cooks and bartenders are super friendly and aim to please. The indoor seating is super decent. The outdoor seating is exceptional. Patrons are friendly. It's dog friendly with water bowls outside.
Selby was absolutely fantastic from the moment i called to make sure they allow dogs to the moment i checked out! My first drink came out not as expected, once i mentioned it she replaced it! She brought ice water to my baby and took care of us the whole time. I'm from out of town but due to amazing service and prices i would go out of my way to see her again!
The food is so good! It's a whole vibe for lunch but hella laid back and good comfort food
